Do you tend to develop dry coughs after a cold or flu that seem to linger on for ages?
Heres one story from DH of London we would like to share with you
'Persistent coughing as an after effect of a cold or flu for many weeks after the cold or flu has gone is something Ive suffered from for ages. A couple of colds a year usually meant three or four months a year of additional coughing discomfort!'
'Its not something I could ever get used to. The coughs always seemed to happen at awkward moments. And coughing on and off all through the day continuously for weeks on end is exhausting, debilitating, distressing and depressing.
'And just as suddenly as the coughing started, so after an interminable six or seven weeks it would stop for no apparent reason'
'Id consulted with my GP. With his help and advice I tried just about everything to stop the cough. Tinctures, cough medicines, decongestants and loads of cough pastilles'
'I also tried nasal douches. They provided a bit of relief but had no direct effect on the cough'
'So the next time I went through this coughing episode after a cold I mentioned this to one of the sales staff at Living Is Easy.co.uk. He suggested I try a Salt Pipe to try to calm and cleanse my upper respiratory tract and to try to stop the coughing. He also recommended though that the next time I developed a cold to start using the Salt Pipe immediately'
'I purchased a Salt Pipe from Living Is Easy.co.uk and with my cold gone but the coughing well into its fifth week, started using the Salt Pipe everyday a few times in the morning and before going to bed'
'A couple of weeks later the cough disappeared but I could not for certain attribute the cough stopping to the Salt Pipe'
'Nevertheless about a year later when I developed another heavy summer cold this time I began using the Salt Pipe everyday the moment the cold took hold'
'So having used the Salt Pipe regularly since day one of the cold, the cold took its usual five day course to go, the coughing started, lingered for a couple of days and then miraculously disappeared'
'That had never happened in almost twenty years of colds and flu'!
'Could this be all down to the Salt Pipe?'
'My own view is that given a cold is essentially a viral attack on the linings of the nasal passages and upper respiratory tract its quite possible that my lingering coughing may have been the result of irritants remaining that were not cleared away from my system'
'What I feel might have happened when using the Salt Pipe is that it may have accelerated the clearing and cleansing process whilst I had my cold so ridding my respiratory system of the irritants and debris created by the cold'
'By using the Salt Pipe right from day one of the cold I feel it has helped to cleanse and expel whatever had in the past tended to remain in my respiratory system after a cold to cause all this irritation and coughing'
